It has been fun to see how much he has grown, and grown-up this past year. His interests are also expanding. He has had a love for the Wiggles for such a long time. He loves to sing and dance, and already has a natural aptitude for both of them. This year he also really started to like Sesame Street. He loves Elmo and the Count, but he always calls the Count, NINE! It is so cute. He is still very shy around new people. It usually takes him about 10 minutes to warm up to someone. He started nursery this past year, but he still struggles being in there without either me or Garrett. I'm sure part of that has come from the fact that he has had to be isolated so much for the the first part of his life. Having been born with a collapsed lung and spending his first 8 days of life in the NICU and then again having to be hospilized for a lung infection at 6 weeks old which put him back in the PICU for several days. He has already had to fight pneumonia and other lung infections 4 times since then in his short 2 years of life. He is a fighter though, and we are so grateful to have him in our lives. Last year we were worried he was going to have some hearing issues. Thankfully though after several testing and treatments he is doing well and his speech has really taken off.
