Halloween 2011

The kids love Halloween. Getting to dress up and of course the candy. Every year at the kids' school they get to wear their costumes and of course have class parties. The other fun thing that their school does, is they have a Halloween Parade. Each class gets a chance to "parade" around in the halls to show off their costumes and they get to trick or treat the principal. All the other kids get to sit in the hall as well as the parents, to see the kids in the parade. So much fun!

We try really hard to focus on the fun aspects of Halloween and encourage our kids to dress as fun characters. I don't like to focus or even have around any of the "scary" aspects of Halloween. Just don't think it is good to dwell on those things or have that influence at all in our home.



Logan decided he wanted to be a pirate this year, like Captain Jack Sparrow. This is what we came up with. He had so much fun with it!

Alaina was "Genevieve" from Barbie and the 12 Dancing Princesses. One of her favorite shows. She loved it!



William was Mickey Mouse this year. He was still too young to really know much of what was going on, but he had fun going around and getting candy. What a cute Mickey Mouse he was!
