Festival of Trees 2011

One of my favorite kick-off's to Christmas is the Festival of Trees. It is so much fun to look around at all the beautifully decorated trees, wreaths, and other crafts. The kids get a chance to see Santa and there are always Christmas Carols playing in the background.

The kids got to do a scavenger hunt at this year's festival. There were various items the kids had to find on and around the trees. Once they found them we turned in their papers and they got a free little gift. The kids LOVED it!

Another of the great things at the Festival is that there is almost no waiting to see Santa! This makes mommy and kids very happy! I hate the long lines at the mall waiting to see Santa. The kids are so tired and cranky by the time they get to him that it's really not any fun. This way the kids are still very much happy and excited by the time they get to him.
